The world is changing, especially our natural world.
By having our kids play outside, they can experience nature and all its wonders. If they don’t experience a fresh breeze blowing the leaves of nearby trees, get lost looking over a beautiful ocean horizon, dig in the mud or play in lakes, they will never grow to appreciate and understand what there is to be lost.
To be the future guardians of our natural world, kids need to experience it enough to believe in the need for its protection. And have enough love for it to feel joy to do it.
Besides, how amazingly fun it is to climb trees and feel leaves crunching under your feet?
Encourage your kids to play outside, before it comes to the point where there is no 'outside' to play in.
